LED Flashlights – General Info

On the left is a ZY-T08 with an XP-G2 S4 de-domed on the right is a courui big head with a de-domed XPL Both have the same DD FET driver in them.

9xSRK XM-L2's on noctigons (left)

3xXHP-50 trustfire diving light (right).

These two below are XPH-70 lights.

On the Left is the large 2x26650 with a big reflector by Sharp Eagle

On the right is a 2x18350 is a litefighter which is the size of a C8.

This last light is a litefighter C8 size light for comparison.

This is about 5amps running into a XM-L2, good reflector and glass

Thank you, nice beamshots. Could you post bigger pictures? ZY-T08 and Courui spots look pretty close in diameter, but Courui seems a bit brighter.

Nice shots 18sixfifty. I’m a late comer to the ZY-T08 but have been using two highly modified lately with the BLF fet + 1 driver running an XPL-HI and XPL. One has a plastic reflector and the other an aluminium one. Gotta love em.

I actually like the plastic lens one better at least for the de-domed emitters. Still though to get the best focus I take the bottom of the reflector out.

Hi, I don’t get a chance to take pics that often but I can tell you that you are correct the Courui is brighter and throws a little farther. Although if I had put a XP-G2 in the courui it would throw even farther but have the same lumens as the ZY-T08.

What type or wiring do you use? With the heat generated…
