Has anyone tried an "Outlite" brand C8?

They’re $11.99 with Prime shipping from Amazon, which is about the best I’ve seen reasonable for a C8 shipped from the US by a reputable seller, even if you just consider it a host + spare parts.

Just not sure what to expect for quality - chances it’s a real XML? Aluminum reflector (as claimed in description) or plastic? Level of fit & finish?
Reviews aren’t too helpful, and my only obvious concern based on product pictures: if the beamshot is colored accurately, they should market it as UV! :stuck_out_tongue:
Amazon is good with CS, so it’s probably a very low risk to try it, but I thought I’d check for firsthand experiences here before ordering.

Edit: Never mind, relative price isn’t as great as I thought, unless quality is surprisingly good. Ultrafire’s version is available for $8.90 with Prime.

I cannot comment on the Outlite

Cheap C8’s don’t always have a Cree emitter, horrible driver thing, poor threads. If the Outlite is anything like this you won’t want to use the part’s in anything.

I would get a Convoy or a Thorfire, I have both. They are more expensive but they’re worth it.
