This light is the newest titanium version (2015) of the D25C and has the XP-L HD V5 emitter, which is the brightest emitter you can get in this light. It puts out 485 lumens on a primary CR123 battery and I have read it puts out about 600-700 lumens on a RCR123 lithium ion battery. I have this light as well, love it! Of course I like a lot of modes. It is very bright on a lithium ion. How would one mod it??? What would u do to it?
Unscrew the head from the body, replace the driver and the emitter. I had this light at one time, I traded it for a different light. I think the driver is just press fit into the head. Once you remove the mcpcb, you should be able to pop the driver right out.
ahem, just asking what/why you would put in it? The light is plenty bright as is with a ton of modes. I have put diffuser film on the lens and the beam is awesome.
Sorry for the clutter, it is keeping your sales post up top though, lol. This is a great light, I owned one, the only reason I traded it was because I wanted a light that had a little throw to it. The quality of this light is excellent as is the beam that it produces. It’s perfect to use around the house at night since is has a wonderful moonlight mode.
