Seems to be like a Cometa, but 2X batteries required.
It doesn´t seems to be very reliable, as notes say:
Note:
1.Please use 2 x 18650/26650 battery for this flashlight
2.Flashlight runtime is about 2hous,please do not use for a long time due to the high power of the led.
Can this flashlight manage the heat created by this Led?
Seems that answer is not for very long run times.
Can this flashlight work with only 1 battery?
I don´t think so, XHP is 6V led die, a driver will push really hard one single battery, arround 6A or more at full power.
What is the beam profile of a XHP50 inside a zooming flashlight with convex lens?
I have never used the Jax Z1 XHP50. I do not know any facts about this particular model.
I suspect, however, that the requirement to use two batteries means that this flashlight uses some sort of buck driver. If true, then I doubt you can get any output when you use only one battery. That means more like 0 amps, rather than 6. I suppose you might get a feeble amount of light and current. Or, maybe not.
If, on the other hand, this flashlight uses a boost or buck/boost driver, then you might find it pulling 6 amps when operated on a single battery.
LOL!
Gotta love that dazzling window zoomed emitter pattern, my 2S zoomable host is currently being overhauled into a sort of that $π¡€. Cool!
I see that BG sells the following light JAXMAN Z1 XHP50 2400LM Zoomable LED Flashlight+Extension Tube, but the photos included in the page write JAX Z1,while Aliexpress’s photos write JAXMAN Z1.
Why is that?
Jax is the old company name, renamed to Jaxman because of some legal conflict. Some of those pics are old it looks like. Yeah, wish they'd update it all - just confusing...
