Funny thread @ CPF

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?322949-ultrafire-xm-l-gone-up-in-smoke-in-just-seconds

Summary:

Someone 1: "My Ultrafire died! It says it can handle 4.2v but with a 4.2v cell it looked weak so I put in 7.4v cells and it emitted magic smoke and died!!!"

DM51: "Ultrafires are crap."

Someone 2: "You probably had it on low."  Laughing

Someone 3: "Ultrafires really suck."

Someone 4: "My Ultrafires have been serving me just as well as my Fenix."

Someone 5: "My Ultrafires are actually great."

Someone 6: "Yeah, my Ultrafire+Manafont XML is really good."

Norm: "Let's get back on topic, talking about Ultrafire's quality isn't helping the OP."

Just one big LOL Smile

I saw that although I didn't see the final one with Norm saying talking about Ultrafire quality wasn't helping the OP. That's funny!

Even Admin himself is trolling LOL. Seriously saying one brand is crap doesn't help him right?

"Ultrafire lights are known for being cheap junk. You can make a much higher quality light source by wrapping a gasoline soaked rag around a wooden broom-handle. It won't be LED, but it'll last you longer than the average Ultrafire; and will honestly be less likely to fall apart on you."

Gotta love the ignorance

Wow, I think it was on low. Not exactly smart to cook it with 7.4 V

Maybe it's not ignorance.

Do admins on CPF get paid? I mean there's a lot of ads around there from the big brands.

Loved DM51's comment ...   Birds of a feather !

Always remember , the easiest thing in the world to do , is to expel hot air from your lungs and through some vocal chords ..
The resulting sound may , or may not be worth listening too ….

Suprised CPF did't use the Jedi mind trick... "There are no Ultrafires here, move along" or "These aren't the flashlights your looking for" LOL

FX-32 reminds me of your post that got locked because you request a 3.5 amp  10 7135 driver. "Bad idea I think Ultrafire uses those"

I am already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth.

I think this is why many of us joined this site......much easier to ask questions and you have no one, and i mean no one bringing you down for using budget lights.  I think it was last year that my wife wanted to buy me a SureFire and i told her hell no, if you want to know why it is because the light is built like a Camaro with a 4 banger Vtech...lol.

With Darkness, there will always be Light.

xDD haha, the post isn't locked (YET!), so I posted something right now to see what happens.

On CPF it is really like, if you don't want or can't afford 10xFenix + 5xAurora + 3xOlight + 1x007.Titanium, you don't deserve to have an account on the forum, and if you have those lights, but you say "I like Ultrafire" they will ban you  lol  lol

Here there is another topic with this same attitude: Look at DM51's first post.

I don't like DM51 at all.

Totally agree, I'm amazed at the stuff DM51 gets away with, last week he banned one poor guy for politely asking him to clarify something he said. DM51 is such a pompous arrogant asshat, I've never seen a normal poster as bad as he is, yet alone a moderator !!! It's a shame because there are a lot of nice people on CPF, yet DM51 ruins the place by locking threads and banning people for innocently asking the wrong question or talking about a subject he personally doesn't like. Total abuse of his position and it makes other moderators look bad.

The a..h... has just deleted 9 posts from the thread. One was mine

where I asked Norm if he had not read post #2. Sense of humor ist

not their strongest side.

Cheap quality is good - Expensive crap isn´t

Yeah, mine was one of the "9 off-topic baiting posts". Jeez, the guy is so arbitrary. How can you pull 9 posts from a thread, I've never heard of ANYONE doing that. Either lock the whole thread, or delete it, you can't pick and choose...

Rats, finally sold my 2010 509hp Mustang...now I can buy more lights!

Sold the red one too! Now guess what I drive, doing my penance for 500 hp commuters...

Yes indeed. I tried reasoning with that fool on a thread once, now I know he's an illogical and rude prick.

The ass bating bit is legendariest!
