Why so many furniture/kitchen spam posts?

The majority of the spam posts I see here (which are quickly canned) are for furniture or kitchens. Why do they post them here? I’ve never seen these type of spam posts on any other forum and it seems like this would be the least likely place that they might actually get a customer. Anyone know why they post here? Is it like a bot program that just posts on any forum where they can, or are actual humans thinking that BLF is a good place to try and sell this stuff? Seems so weird to me.

Coz they believe in Unicorns. I hope you nuked em as I did.

Mr Admin should make it only one strike to mark as spam and they are gone. I hate their BS.

How many times does a post need to be marked as spam for it to be nuked?

The problem with it being one click is that it would be easy for people to abuse.

I always do.

I’m pretty sure it is 3. But some of these guys are so obvious. Mr Admin should extend to me that priviledge…

Maybe any post title with the words Kitchen or Furniture could be sent directly to trash!
If someone legitimately needs to put these words in a post title they could use something like “the room you cook in” or “things to sit on” etc :smiling_imp:

I got it. We have Mr. Admin secure the IP address of the perp and fire off a Cruise Missile disguised as a piece of furniture…lmao

It would surely be the only thing anyone from this forum ever sent them.
I am willing to send them my credit card number, written on the side of the missile. :smiling_imp:

Tell me that it was a chair or sofa, please. That way, you can have him take a seat!

i never got any furniture spam posts

BLF is probably on some list those kitchen sellers use to copy paste their spam to (could be even bots using proxies so IPbans are not effective)

’oogled (blog spam bot kitchen british)
finds plenty of mentions over several years, apparently it’s a longtime problem.

Plenty more where that came from.

How about just sending Tom Cruise disguised as a piece of furniture.
