Find another use for flashlight

Being old and forgetful, I left my headlight on, in my car to go to the library for 2 hours. You know what happen next? Yes, dead battery. So I raised my hood, hoping someone is going to help. It happened, someone helped me to jump started my car. So to show my appreciation, instead of money, I gave him a flashlight. I had on me, uf-h2, sa-1 and a uf2100 and a no name aa headlight. Guess which light I gave him. I just could not part with the first 3, so I gave him the headlight. Well everyone is happy, I hope. Another use of my light. I guess I will order more lights I can part with
when situations come up. Have a nice weekend. By the way, I just received my ITP sa-1 and 2 extra uf-h2(group buy price) last night. They are both very very nice.

I worked night shift for many years and on my way home from work one morning at 6am a guy was stuck off the road in the snowbank. The roads were icy it was around 20f he was wearing sneakers and a sweatshirt standing in 3 feet of snow. I threw him my tow rope he hooked to his truck I hooked my end to mine and pulled his 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy out of the snow with my 2wd Ford 1/2 ton. He was so happy he offered me $100 bucks and told me I got him out in time so he wouldn't even be late for work. I couldn't take his money, but I would have gladly accepted a flashlight, great idea.

I was just counting...

If I got 1 flashlight every time I have: jumpstarted someone, towed, helped repair or trying it, went out to get gas, I now would have more lights than I have now on my self BOUGHT.

Lousy flashaholic.

All started in Sweden -07. Was going to drive through Europe. Stopped at bus stop to top up windshield washer.

Less than a minute with popped hood and someone already stopped... I was thinking: this should be the standard time to wait aside of the road - everywhere! :) Since then I have always stopped if there seems to be a problem & I´m not in a rush to work.

Trip through Europe went fine, no need for actual help aside the road.

We went through 15 countries in 12 days, Italy being the southern most, Poland being the most interesting to drive in :) , 2600m altitude being the highest place, travelled some 4800miles (averaging more than Gumballers / day at some years).
