I think it would be good to have a topic open which we could use to keep a central record of monies raised for OL
It’s fantastic to see the effort and participation from members here …what with all the Auctions, Raffles, Donations etc going on left right and centre
How about once an auction is completed, the final $$ gets recorded here by the organizer of the auction/raffle
That way we have a running tally board
It would not be designed to compare effectiveness of each initiative (because they’re all serving a common goal) but a spot we’re we can check in on progress and feel good about the contributions. Eeven people who haven’t joined in on the fun yet will get the warm and fuzzies and may even be inspired to find an active raffle etc to jump on board.
If we think it’s a good idea, feel free to use this topic, I’ll keep post 2 (reserved) for organizers to add their results (PM me the $$ as each close).
If we don’t think it’s a good idea, or if the general consensus is that it’s too personal, then I’ll be happy to remove this topic

Yes the Manker 50 x X5 for $30 (should bring in $1500) and the expanding raffle from DjBurkes ((0-$150 a triple X6, a custom C8 if $150 is reached (check reached) and a VoB S2+ if $200 is reached)
I see the point for PP not including these since other PayPal’s are used bit for the overview to have it all somewhere is nice.

(As a matter of fact a little slowdown could be smart, I mean with three actions running at this time it gets harder to participate in all where a buck of 10-15 a month is fine I feel it is getting too high for me now with $50 participations in raffles, $55 in an auction, a couple of lights and shipping it turns into $100 a month.
So it is getting too high for me and I think stretching it over more time can generate more per action
While it is true that a thread may have reached its end, I for one believe it is the equivalent of a “free day” from the days back in elementary school. There is essentially no teacher here anymore and thus the kids can run free!
On that note, I want to say that I for one am excited for the beginning of the American football season tonight!
