I ordered a new updated driver from ali express for my convoy flashlight and checked out as a guest without creating an account. Upon submitting I got a confirmation page saying they received my payment. I have yet to receive an email after 2 days. I am chatting with an agent right now at ali express and she cannot find anything by the email I provided or my name. I do not know what to do trying to deal with these foreigners? Is this typical?
I have an account so that would be slightly different. Can you login into aliexpress and see the order (not sure if that works without an account)? was the payment accepted / did everything go through? (card was debited?) the email you got should have the order in detail.
AE sends a notification on their amazing app that shows all the updates directly on your phone.
I have never had an issue with AE so far, every single item got to me.
The rep that I was chatting with kept trying to get me to log in with an old extinct email that I guess I used to have an account under. But that email got deleted over a year ago. Saturday when I ordered I just checked out as a guest and entered my new email and my name and address and credit card information. I I got a confirmation screen from them saying my payment has been received. But I have never received an email I don’t know whether to just order again and take a chance that my card will be double charged or what? But since I’m dealing with people overseas that can’t even speak that great English when I’m chatting with them they have a hard time understanding what I’m trying to tell them. For example I told her after she made me aware that I had an account with an old email that the email had been deleted a long time ago and then later in our conversation she turned around and sent me a confirmation code to that same email and told me it would be good for 15 minutes. I got upset and said that emails been deleted and I just closed out the browser because I couldn’t stand it anymore.
the normal process for me is:
go to AE, put item in cart, checkout with cart, buy this item from this seller, payment page: enter details (or used saved card if logged in), receive email with order number (do you have this email with the number?). the payment has to be accepted by the seller (at least for me) and then I’ll see an email once the goods ship.
this is without alipay, just AE and my card.
the shipping can take more than 2 days, so that means there are no mails in that time frame.
I can’t find out how to attach a screenshot from my phone or else I would have attached the one saying the payment was received. That is the page I got after I submitted my order. But I’ve never received any email. This order was placed Saturday around 11 a.m. Central Time
good that you have a screenshot, for yourself and AE support. the only explanation then would be a typo in the email address? does the screenshot include any order numbers?
if the order/payment went through and you put in the correct address…. I guess you’ll receive the goods in 3-4 weeks?
I got my wife check in the credit card statement to see if anything’s been charged. I’m not sure if the order was placed on Saturday if it would be run through this morning yet or not. I may just log in and order another driver with a different power setting as I’m not even sure which power setting I want anyways. That way I’ll have one of each
use the app, it might have additional discounts when you shop on your phone. (i.e. QR code can be scanned, you get points for checking in, can play games, win points, …) - I personally really like their app.
Well I guess we’ll wait it out because my wife said there is a charge on the credit card from AliExpress. I guess I’m not sure why I haven’t received an email
I really don’t understand…
You say you didn’t create an account so you didn’t provide them with an email address either?
And if you did, what email address? Certainly not the one that didn’t exist anymore?
I’ve just tried ordering something there without being logged in and as soon as I click on the Buy button it asks me to log in. No way around that.
I didn’t want to create an account because honestly I probably won’t order very much from them. So I clicked on the button that said check out as a guest. It’s still had me enter my email address and all my personal information. And I use the current email that I’ve been using for a few years now not that old one. As far as cancelling the payment it’s already went through so I don’t know if it’s too late to cancel
