I have a few 26650 protected Keeppower cells that are flat tops and want to use them as singles only, so basically, does anyone know of a high lumen single cell flashlights that would take a protected 26650? As long as they take one protected battery, I'd like to look at them to see which one I like.

Since you’ve got the L6, maybe you would like the L2 as well. It runs both single as double cell for extended runtime. You get less lumens compared to the L6, but a much smaller and brighter hotspot for more throw. Single cell, so it’s very compact. I would check whether it accepts the protected Keeppowers’ dimensions though; I’m not familiar with that.
You also have the Manker U21 or Utorch UT02. Compact single 26650 throwers. Smaller and lighter than an L6, but with more throw. Again, please check whether they accept the protected Keeppower.
What is considered amazing bang for the buck is the Eagle Eye X7. Same story here, check compatibility with cell.
That Manker U21 is a nice little flashlight, but unfortunately it uses unprotected cells only. Will have a look at the two others thanks.
The Lumapower Strive-ECO will accept 26650 up to 73mm long.

Just noticed the DQG Tiny 26650. Compact for a cell of its size! Not sure about quality but looks cool.
The latest version of that light is spec’d to only fit an unprotected cell. I do use a protected cell from EVVA (4000mAh) in an earlier version, and that one will even fit my slightly compressed cap KeepPower 26650 (5200mAh) which is a lot longer than the EVVA. The KeepPower works fine in my G20, and I can also use it in my R40, but I believe that maybe because I’ve reduced a mm of the top with the + terminal being compressed in the center.
Still is interesting how life sometimes works. Banggood sent you the wrong cells, so now you’re looking for a new single 26650 light. “Fortunately”, Banggood sent me the correct cells for my L6, so I don’t need to look for such a light… 
Yep, you’re one of the lucky ones who do not need to search for another flashlight 
. I have to put those Keeppowers to good use for something. Looking at the UT02 at the moment, but I would really prefer I brighter light. L6 has spoiled me!
Convoy BD06 looks good, but I do not have one.

Can’t think of the name isn’t there a supfire flashlight that’s like a 26650 version of a c8. Kinda like the eagle eye x7 is the 26650 version of the x6
I’m putting together a review (should be up this week) on the BD06. A nice flashlight that can easily accept a protected cell, but high lumen it is not unless you want to mod it.
