bump…
in bulk? available for 20 cents apiece…. LMAO
why have fake LatticeBright, if this is a 2012 lot of NOS CREE xp-g… i mean for 20 cents each? geez…
might be just the thing to mod cheap multi-emitters lights…?
I just wonder if its a “desireable” emitter at all, if it was cheap enough…?

How many are we talking? I am interested. If the minimum quantity isn’t too high.
I found a deal? for a thousand… I dont know how quick i have to act…
not that i expect anyone to go in on a thousand emitters?
I was just WONDERING how cool it would be to have this particular emitter, available dirt cheap? I mean, what if i buy the reel of 1000, just sayin… what am i gonna DO, but keep a hundred of them for a “lifetime supply” and i have to do something with the other 900, right?

I would buy 200 at .10 a piece. I’m sure you could sell the rest here if you go ahead with the order.
At $0.10 a piece I would be in for a few
This is not a bad emitter at all. There are many that now tower over it but for cheap they are great. The best use for many of these would be to rebuild one of the cheep Chinese lightbars.
Why i am asking? is i was thinking of getting them, for the &^%$ of it… but i mean, they are what i think they are, right? there isnt some weird case configuration or voltage i am not knowledgeable to be aware of?
xpg-1’s used to be the standard thrower LED, right? i figured if i dumped them on our market cheap, everyone could replace every last lattice bright in SIGHT with a real cree, lmao…
or, are these “ugly tint stepchildren”, i wouldnt know… i need an expert opinion…

The tint is nice. It might be a bit warm for some but most on the forum appreciate the neutral white.
okay… let me think about this? but… if i buy a whole REEL, and have to chop them up into piece meal orders… i was thinking, 20 cents a piece? as many as you can fit into whatever envelope needed to cram them into the mail…
I mean, you cant buy a real CREE under a dollar? this would be FIVE for a dollar, lol… i was thinking snipping off of a reel, i could just mail them in regular renvelopes, right? my desire wold be to flood our local market on this site with them…
I mean, for a buck or two envelope? i could mail as many as needed… I was thinking CONUS only, to simplify things…

I need my head examined… I just ordered two T-H-O-U-S-A-N-D.
Needless to say, once i get a hold of them? I will want to start bulk shipping these puppies out, LMAO…
I will keep you guys posted. My theory was?
1) someone chimed in, and wanted two hundred of them…
2) someone else said something…
3) I figured if 200 of them is spoken for in minutes? why not get 2000…
4) I am hoping they will be de-domeable, hopefully…
5) i can finally learn to solder emitters, i have no excuse not to learn, ha ha
6) i am hoping these will be cheap enough, people will want a bunch for multi-emitter LB swaps….

XP-G is a very nice 3535 emitter. Very dedomeable. Good for your “standard” emitter for beam/tint comparison baseline because it’s well known to almost every flashaholic worlwide.
I still use my XPG 6200K I bought in 2006 because I know it’s standard and gives out Cree’s trusted output.
If I’m in US I will order some. But the cost to ship it to my country must be very expensive.

I was super excited about this after reading about the price and was thinking about 50-100 pcs but then you said some bs like “conus only”… but, maybe it’s for the best, what would I do with 50-100 outdated emitters…
I knew it’s expensive

Let’s keep it for someone else then

Contiguous United States (the US minus Hawaii and Alaska as they’re geographically separated a bit)
48 states of USA excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Or as I read it: “everione outside of US, suck it”…
Oh OK, thx for explaining. I’m closer to Hawaii

hey… i wasnt trying to be rude… I have seen other people say “lower 48 only” or “USA” only… which was the only reason i said it… then when i saw the 32 dollars to send a 50 cent emitter??? i figured it was why people say USA only.
my new plan: where the package is going? its just an address i write on it at my post office… if your paying the postage anyways? i dont care if its going to antarctica. I dont discriminate.
now… as to why you would want a slightly outdated emitter? I can think of several reasons…
but, the 2 most important are? Its still a decent emitter, its NOS, and… how about having 20 CREE xpgs for 5 bucks + real postage… up until now, i have never sold anything here ever, i only buy occasionally. I just figured i shouldnt pass up the deal i found, i should pass it on.
everyone is always b!tching about all the fake CREE’s out there? I figured i had a temporary solution to that! real brand new CREE’s cheaper than dirt!
that was the plan, anyways… so far? in several hours, a couple hundred have already been spoken for, in several bulk and small-bulk orders… heck, for the price of a pack of smokes? you can stick a small pill bottle chock full of these things on your shelf… play with them later.
i just… thought it would be funny to flood the market with real CREEs, if only temporarily, as long as it didnt really cost me anything. How else is a flashaholic supposed to try to enjoy his laid-off time with fiddling around trying to make a light bar for my buddies side by side… i’m grabbing a nice handful for myself at the bulk price i paid? and the rest i cant possibly use? I pass on to everyone else to have fun with.

Welcome to my world… I do stoop-, umm, adventurous things like that often.
Probably a bit warm for dedoming, unless you really want a WW (~3000K) thrower. 4500K is a quite yummy CT.
Decide on a final price yet? Someone mentioned 20¢ a pop, someone else 10¢ a pop, and I’m confused. Haven’t seen any firm mention of price.
How much for 50 or 100? Yeah, that’s like a lifetime supply for anyone (other than Simon, maybe) but it’s nice to have spares.
Shipping? Bubblewrap-lined envelope? 6buk snailmail box? Other?
Sounds like a good deal, though, tnx!

I thought that was phrased a bit rudely (no, not you). If you offered free shipping, conus-only would be fine. But as you said, if the recipient is willing to pay the freight, who cares how much it is? The only issue is that you’d have to do all the legwork to find how much to ship to X, Y, and Z, correspond back’n‘forth, only to be told, “Naaah, too rich for my blood. I’ll pass.”. That’d kinda suck.
Being cheap as dirt is the main reason. Buy cheap stars in bulk, line a piece of Al, and make nice under-shelf lighting. Or throw on some reflectors/TIRs and make a cheap lightbar. Go crazy…

Hey, relax. I hope you didn’t get me wrong. I didn’t plan to buy it because I know it must be very expensive to send it to my country. Besides, I still have a bunch of 6200K XPG anyway. In fact I’m supporting you to buy a nice original Cree because it’s a good quality even if it’s outdated. I asked about Conus because I’m not familiar with the terms being an Indonesian.
PS: If you’re interested in my 6200K XPG, I can send it some to you via Texas_Ace with my next shipment to him. It’s XPGWHT-L1-0000-00H51

Hey Guys…
I am not experienced at international shipping, lol. I have GOTTEN packages but never SENT one… member BOAZ here explained by private message that the post office “hides” a cheap rate to…
serbia, indonesia… probably most countries… looking like a 2.29 rate to ship a large envelope one ounce. (emitters are light, lol)
add the cost of a padded bubble-envelope to that? and its looking like it might be only a couple bucks to ship to countries i admit i have trouble finding on a globe…
