I guess its only polite to introduce myself, since I hope to get some answers here for all my questions about flashlights. I’m a middle aged family man living in the south-east of Norway, my main interest beside being a family man is hunting (Moose and Deer mainly), my two hunting dogs (Norwegian Elkhounds), guns/shooting of course and tinkering with mechanical and electronic devices in general.
I have been doing all the repairs and maintenance on my own cars for 30 years, so I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I know very little about flashlights, but I need them to walk my dogs every day in the woods in the dark winters of Norway, and for hunting, car repairs etc.
Lately I have also found flashlights to be quite interesting as well, I guess it wil turn out the same as my rifle cartridge handloading, I will not save any money, just end up with a lot more stuff than before!
Yes, same here, stuff and knowledge. A problem that might be unique to our time. We, indeed, are fortunate, poor, and lucky, all at the same time. Welcome aboard kindred spirit Elchund. :)
