NIWALKER VOSTRO BK-FA09S--I Need Help !

I need help with some info about the Niwalker Vostro BK-FA09S (2400 Lumen) Flashlight.

1—It has a CREE XHP35 HI Led——Does anyone know for sure the tint/color that Niwalker uses ?
( Is it Warm , Neutral or Cool White—–3500k—7000k ? )

2—It takes (x4) 18650 Li-ion batteries/cells—-What type/brands are the best to use for this light ?

Does anyone here have any experience with it ?—-Whatever info you can give will be appreciated.

Hi

I have read review of this flashlight by kj75 @cpf

niwalker vostro bk-fa09s

I thinks answers of your questions can find there

xxx ,Thanks for your reply and direction with the link . Is there anyone else that has any answers about what other
battery brands/types to use in this light and how the stiff springs on it’s 18650 battery carrier can be dealt with ?

A XHP35 wont draw too much from 4 cells.

Even batteries with 5A PCB can deliver enough energy for a hard overdriven ones

Each battery when fresh will have to deliver less than 2A when drained 2.5A as its a boost driver

Do you have any suggestions for what type/brand names of batteries to use in this light ?

I know its got stiff springs which led to one battery carrier breaking due to the strain it was under (even worse during loading or unloading the batteries!).

Don’t know makes and types off the top of my head but I’d say go for the shortest battery you can to help avoid this.

I am using the Efest IMR 18650 3500mAh 20A flat top battery

Very tight fit at te beginning, but after a few weeks the springs have lost a little power, so after all, perfect fit

XPH35 Color/Tint is around 5000k

Samsung 30Q flat tops are also hard to get in...

i defintely will change the springs in mine!

tint is NW to CW - very nice!

The springs are very stiff, I have used Sanyo GA and Sony VTC6 in mine, I think Sony is the best fit because they are shorter. I ended up with changing the springs to these :

Now my Keeppower 3500 fits perfect :

The tint to my eyes is neutral to the cold side maybe 5500k (one of the reasons I bought it), the thermal step down and up a nice feature.

Yep, very nice feature :sunglasses:

Just returned from my daily 5 km (5468yd)walk with the dog, around 4°C (39.2F) with a little wind, never step down!

When it steps down, whitin a few minutes it will go automatically back in Full Power :sunglasses:

The springs are tight on mine too. Pretty much any flattop battery is good in this light. Can’t recommend any button top since it’s already very hard to fit the flattop in due to mentioned spring tension.

I concur about 5,000 to 5,500K decent in between neutral and cool type tint. Although it’s still a bit too cool for me, I like the tint from this light a little better than my K70 which isn’t way cool but not at all neutral either.

The tactile feel of the ring is simply different between these two lights. Hard to say which is better. For UI, I prefer the strobe/turbo/standby being all next to each other on K70, opposed to opposite ends of the control ring cycle like the BK-FA09s. This is not much of a big deal though.
