[SOLVED] my Manker E02 just died on me. (it was in lock out mode...)

Yeah, i guess this is just my problem, but wanted to share it and maybe i’m not the only one…

So i was playing around with my Manker E02, clicking away, cycling through modes, going to ‘turbo’ and back, both with double clicks, etcetera…
And then the driver got confused by all the clicking, i guess… (?)
It got stuck on medium, not responding to the switch, and then it turned itself off.
Since then it is dead as a dodo…

Tried clicking 2 times, 3 times, 4 times, 5 times, wondering if there’s a lock out or something…
No response, it doesn’t do a thing…

I’m very sad about this (but i’ll get over it).
Loved this light. My brightest AAA light by far.

Any ideas or solutions?
Or should i just buy a new one?

Thanks for reading.

Unlocking from lockout can be extremely painful. You could have accidentally put it in lockout. 1 click, 2 clicks, 3 clicks. Timing is crucial. Please do try this.

THANK YOU !!! :+1: :+1: :+1:

It’s alive, it’s alive !!

How did i get it in lock out mode anyway??

Should be in the manual, which i will try to find (no idea where i left that…)

“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a person to unlock a Manker light.”

Locking is the same as unlocking.

This is what my E02H manual says:

Okay, thanks guys. :+1:

Mine’s a backup and I always have mine in lock out mode in my pocket. Invariably when I go to use it, I forget it’s in lockout mode and think my battery has died.
