I believe the updated dimensions are in the first post and on their website because on page three I said I’d like it to be longer, closer to 110mm. Now it’s 112mm long. For me that’s a great length. I definitely want one now. I’ve carried the same Convoy triple for years, even after getting a D4, and this looks like a strong contender for my new EDC. Hopefully it can be modded to push peak output closer to 10k lumens. That’d keep it in my pocket for many years.
Purple looks great but I heard purple LEDs might be very inefficient and inconsistent in color. I bought some pink LED switches from Lexel and they look purple than pink. Would be nice if FF can offer either purple or pink/purple Aux leds.
Bare aluminum with no anodizing looks very cool. But not practical. Especially not anodized thread.
Convoy flashlight have long been using clear anodizing.
Use it for fireflies.
There are different opinions, but in any case, one thing is true – it is this flashlight that should shine !
Not black. Not champagne.
Brilliant silver color,Please !

i don’t quit understand. dose clear anodize equals to brilliant silver?
Please make the head bigger with large copper heat fins to help handle the heat from 7 xpl hi LED. Thank you!!!!
Making the head bigger would place this flashlight in a completely different category, this is now a compact EDC-able light, do you want to destroy that?
Anodizing the aluminum as it comes straight from the machines does two things that are very desireable, first it leaves the light looking raw, as though it is not anodized at all. Second it electrically isolates the threads so the light can be manually locked out by unscrewing the tail cap slightly, great for carry in a pocket, bag, or purse without fear of accidental activation.
As an aside, the non-bead blasted raw finish is very silvery metal in appearance and yields a jewelry grade look to the light.
Interesting light. I’m quite interested. I would preferr a silver version, perhaps titanium or chrome nickel. I like the light behind the mode button, and hope it’s easy to leave on at all times as with most Manker lights. The Olight ODL20C has this feature but it’s hard to leave the light behind the mode button on since that requires several extra steps each time the light is turned off.
I also like the color LEDs associated with the main emiters, as with the Emisar D4S. I hope you provide settings for the LEDs as does the D4S (off, low, high, and possibly beacon).

This is how clear anodizing looks. This clear anodized Convoy L6 host is one of the most beautiful flashlights in my collection. I have the Lexel pink/purple side switch and it looks similar to your prototype E07 but just much larger.
I can see that finned head section being copper, with bare anodized aluminum tube and tail cap and SS or Ti bezel. What an epic little light this would make!
Hopefully after Jacky’ Bi-monthly shower he can read my +1 on this thread. The purple auxiliary LEDs is a keeper. Copper will make this heavy so I don’t know about that. Skip the copper & we’ll be burning our fingers like on a d4 with xpl-hi’s on a vtc5a. Oh, the decisions
Copper would be a separate more expensive version like the copper/ti D4. For those who want the copper look and added performance, and don’t mind the extra mass, they can buy the copper version. I’m sure there will be plenty who would be interested, myself included.
The raised part for the button on the previous version looks better and it would be easier to recess the button in that part.
The new milled flat for the button removes metal mass which should be kept for heat management.
Actually, no, that’s bead blasted then anodized and leaves a satiny finish. What we want is a raw straight off the machine ano, shows the machining marks, no bead blasting…
Do the fins continue around the back? Side opposite switch?
Still think it needs more fins. Still seems like alot of light in a small package.
But seems like an improvement over the original render.
I think the switch could be refined a bit but the bare AL does look good, with or without copper finned body section.
What are the final dimensions?
Maybe it’s a bit too early, but what’s the price you’re aiming for? Similar to the PL47?
I’d say perhaps around 53$US, since the build is cheaper than a headlamp, but there are 3 more emitters on board.
We’ll have to wait for Fireflies’ response though.

The low mode should be lower.
Same here, I’m thinking it’s the new EDC killer light that has everything I want.
it looks really good. cant wait to own one
Man I really wish it had the same color purple emitters on its led board as the side-switch. That would be awesome.
That’s one bulky beast now with the solid 10mm shelf. Should heat-sink well for longer turbo runtimes.
I hope to see the battle of a heatsinks of a novelty 2018 flashlights at 26650/21700.
Maybe the distinguished @maukka will manage to arrange it.
Sorry for my poor english.

In case no one mentioned it yet, a lot of people around here like bare aluminum with no anodizing.
You could sell it exactly like it is in the picture, and it would make many people happy.
Now imagine it in Titanium and copper special edition…

Here you have Convoy L2 for example:

Which is anodized differently from f.e. Convoy S2 silver:

I have a silver S2 and the ano looks cheap, definitely not my taste. I’d like to have a L2-like anodized light.
Great Post.

Does the button look recessed as well to ensure there isn’t any accidental activation?
If so that is another +1 for this light.
Could you please comment on this FF?
