3 Smith and Wesson folding knives on sale at Big 5 for $12 each

Probably the same kind of quality as your basic Chinese-made knives, but you can walk in and buy them for $12 each instead of waiting for 4 weeks delivery from HK

I haven't gotten an Elan yet, so not sure how to compare. For $12, seems to be a decent knife. Nice size, tanto blade with serration, black scales. It's not a Kershaw, but I didn't expect it to be. The one I got is a S&W Extreme Ops black folder. Seems to be on par with decent Chinese knives, much better than cheapo Chinese knives.

 

The two Humvees I'm leaving in the clamshell wrap, going to gift them.

It is nice to be able to walk into a brick-and-mortar store and handle the knives before buying them, especially at those prices. Big 5 had about 10 knives that were priced at $12. Some I liked, some I did not.

Nice.....if you check out Walmart they have the Kershaw Crown in blister pack for 10 plus tax, had to get the blue one, nicely made for that price. You can get it in blue or black, and i am sorry for posting this here, did not mean to hijack your thread about this deal.
