Tactical light with 21700 battery

I am wondering why there is no one tactical light on the market with following configuration:

- 21700 battery;

- tactical tailcap switch with momentary on;

- XHP35 HI emiter;

  • head diameter 40 - 48mm;
    There is some offers which do not fit:
    Acebeam L16 - 18650 battery;
    Acebeam T27 - 70mm head;
    Acebeam L30 - XHP 70.2 led;
    Did I miss something?

It’s a good light with three modes and a max of 3 amps.

You should took a look at Klarus XT 21X not available yet in the market, but they open up for pre order only. This is their newest product so far for X model which they meant for tactical flashlight and also new battery klarus 21700 5000mah. I seem to see klarus are very good in design tailcap switch. They have 2 design so far…the omni 360 and the Dual switch. This time they came with better light output spacing than previos which saw big jump btween 400 to 3200( i own the klarus 360x3) but RUNTIME seem also very good too. Head diameter also within your state parameter.

Just one miss out :ITS Emitter LED (XHP70.2 P2 ) so i just let you know though, incase if don wana miss out.

I have the L16 and man does it perform well. The boost driver is really good. So I can only vouch for the T36. What I love about Acebeam is the tail switch is always Turbo.

I this case I hope Acebeam will make L16 version with 21700. :slight_smile:

Yeah I would like that as well… But it only means you will get more throw. The T36 has a more floody beam, like the Olight M2R Warrior. So it depends on what your neads are for a tactical light. I want both to be honest. The T36 to keep in my house. My L16 is in my truck at all times. The throw is handy when I do security night checks.

I used a L16 head with a L30 20700 tube body, so I guess it will work too with the L30 II 21700 tube cell.

They could offer this option for the L16, the 21700 tube cell already exists
