Nice review again, thanks for all the effort.

You can not own every flashlight of course, but I would have liked the comparison with the Sofirn Q8 (with XP-L Hi leds), a bit cheaper, a bit more compact, slightly less output, great UI, I think a good competition for the MT40.

Totally agree. Good review and a comparison against the Q8 does seem to be the perfect matchup.

Sofirn Q8 vs Haikelite MT40 (both on Highest brightness level) on a white wall:

 (distance flashlight to wall around 18 meters or 60 feet)

 

left: Sofirn Q8 (cool-white)

right: Haikelite MT40 (neutral-white)
