Review: Ultrafire UF-T60 (Pictures inside)

Just received a 1mode UF-T60. It has 3 modes flashlight. High, Med and strobe

It runs with 2*18650 in series. Excelent build quality, coating is perfect. It has a big head, Reflector diameter is 5.5cm with GITD oring.

I like the heatsink fins and the combination of steel on its tailcap. The Led is perfectly centered.

Beam is similar to Trustfire X9. Btw, i'm not good in composing a report. So just enjoy the pictures.

Very nice pics.

I believe the single-mode to be a defect. The series battery setup precludes the use of a 7135-based driver without holder mods. EDIT: I'm glad that your light is OK.

This would be perfect for a triple conversion using the new 3x XML driver from KD....

How does it throw.

Do you have any other big reflector lights to compare it to.

yes i do have. i have sunwayman v60c,TF x9,Solarforce m80,thrunite catapult v3, xeno g42 v2, UF-980L, UF-C8, TF-X8(consider a big reflector????)

which one would you like to compare with??

Um, all of them ?

Please ?

We would, however, be happy with any two - perhaps the catapult and the X9 ?

Wow man that is a sweet looking light if it performs half as good as it looks they have a winner there.

argghh.. i thought that i received a defected unit (1 mode only). The good news came after i read the ultrafire website

Mode Lock

  • Battery cap fully close - mode lock
  • Battery cap not fully close - mode change

hehehhehe

very nice! i'd had my eye on this light for a while! I am interested in a comparison between the X9!

Also, a photo of it in-hand to get an idea of the size please? :)

there you go sir.

I guess which ever is the farthest throwing out of the bunch.

Or as Chicago X requested "All of them" is fine too. LOL

I will try to post the beam shots. but i cant guarantee the quality of the pictures as i dont have a good camera to shoot :)

Harry,

Viewing with your own eyes, which one throws the farthest?

Awesome! thankyou for the great reference photos!

very nice photos, thanks. I like it, a lot. A little expensive for my taste but doesn't look overpriced. If you disassemble the head any further, please take photos.

What Flash said...

Which of the XM-L's you own seems to throw the farthest?

Please tell me it throws 2-3x as far as the X9 as it costs that much more! :)

harry25175 also can you us how bright it is compared to all your other lights?

i just dropped my digicam... the lens ruptured .

btw, the beam comparison; x9 has brighter beam spot than t60. x9 has a same beam as BC40.

However, i prefer to use T60, it has longer runtime and nice to hold.

Assume that the X9 gets 30k candlepower. Your statement would mean that the Ultrafire T60 needs 480k candlepower, possibly more in the real life (attenuation by particles in the air for those long distances and we are talking about both directions). You'll need a 6" HID @ 35W for that. So not very possible.

dohh! sorry to hear that. Someone dropped mine for me last summer - into a lake. well, actually, my wallet isn't sorry, but I feel for ya. I need to stop looking at this light.
