Can it burn through plastic foil?

I mean the salted crisps(Lay’s, Cheetos, etc) packaging. It seems to be a trending novelty these days.

My L16 turned on a couple of times in my pocket. Luckily it was only half the brightness of this thing. Do you think it’s safe to carry without locking out?

I do unscrew the tail cap every time I put the light in a holster.
