3.7 V Li-Ion CR2-sized battery - does it exist?

Hi all,

Considering modding a weaponlight, but have been unable to find a 3.7V CR2 sized battery - basically if there was a half-length 14500 battery that exists - does it?

if this works, I can build my own weaponlights for my home-defense at a fraction of what they’re charging for with the manufacturers!

Looks like there are some available. Not sure how good they are.

Search for li ion 14250.

Thanks! yea not a lot of options from what I’m seeing - bummer - just hate using single-use batteries - seems wasteful to me- to boot, their output is pretty low

The CR2 equivalent in rechargeable lithium batteries would be the 16340 with 3.7V. If it fits your lights there would be more options than with 14250.

I have both - the 16340 is actually larger - unfortunately, I had to get the Amazon ones above - slim pickins
