8x7135 driver help

hey guys i have a 8x7135 driver and the + pad came off even the lil black thing my ? is..............is there any place else i can solder that + wire to the board ??

Hopefully somebody will correct me if I'm wrong here but I think the led+ is a straight feed from the battery+ on those drivers and regulation is handled through the - side. If all else fails, you might try enlarging one of the holes around the outside of the driver, feed your led+ wire through it, and solder it straight to the pad that the battery+ spring is attached to. I'm in no way guaranteeing this will work but it's what I would try to salvage a driver in that condition.

thanks ill try this if i dont get any other tips

I think I can confirm the regulation/modes cone thru the negative side. I had a problem with a 4x7135 where it was direct drive without modes. Turned out my negative lead was touching the outer ground ring of the driver board. FWIW.

ill go and solder it up :) i though i wasted a $5.00 driver

Let us know how it turns out.

i tried and did not work :(

Odd, should work fine since with amc7135 the positive is continuous from battery to led. Perhaps a lead to the mcu is damaged or there is a short elsewhere.

Does it get hot at all?

The yellow circle might be blocking something. Perhaps another picture would help.

no did not get hot at all, i have another driver so im wiring it up right know
