Astrolux EC01 Driver

So.. since nobody has so far pulled out the driver off an Astrolux EC01 as far as I could find, I've took mine out and took some pics (the curiosity was killing me.. )

It appears to be a Boost driver.. (?) +1 7135 and runs on a Tiny85 MCU the FET is a QN3109 and the Boost IC seems to be a PL7203, which I cannot find much info about..

Either this, or the PL7203 is a.. [quote] "2K x 9 dual-port FIFO memory" (which I don't really find a purpose for in this driver) and the driver is a FET +1 7135..

Anyways, I'll leave the.. "reverse en.. *ahem, guessing" for the more knowledgeable veterans around:

Cheers!

Thanks for the pics. But since this light uses a 3V LED, I doubt it’s a boost driver. That coil might be paired with the PL7203 for the charging circuit?

The PL7203 is a battery charging ic: datasheet

The 2.2uH inductor is for that circuit so no boost Wink

This driver is also used in the Wurkkos TS30S.

I wonder if the Astrolux EC03 also uses this similar driver?

(Astrolux EC01, EC03 and Wurkkos TS30S are supposedly also manufactured by Sofirn)
