You guys buy new charger for each year?
I have only one. Olight UC.
New chargers have increased tech, size capabilities and features. 2A charging, protected 21700 fitment, faster discharge for diagnostics, and storage charge capping, to name a few. These are for hardcore users of multiple lights of varying sizes.
I’m waiting for a Liitokala Lii-402 to arrive, but man does the UC4 (my vote) seem tempting. I may not be keen on the bleeding edge of flashlight development anymore, but chargers are a totally different ball game.
I was about to buy the XTARDRAGON but the UC4 seems worth the good wait.
lots of good things and with BlueSword Behind it , & HKJ testing, you cannot go wrong.

I’m happy with my LiitoKala Lii-500S charger for now.
I’m interested in what the BLF UC4 has to offer but there is no telling when it will be released.

Yes, I hope that does get made. I’m not holding my breath, though. Seems too ambitious for the price. And, all there is so far is a wish-list of features. But, I hope to be proven wrong next year.
Updated Miboxer C4-12 has constructive miscalculations; Slot No. 2 is breaking down in large numbers. The first Miboxer C4-12 had similar defects, and slot 3 broke in it.
I am very sorry that I bought it, and I’m waiting for my Updated Miboxer c4-12 to break.
What I’m most looking forward to is a truly capable analyzing charger. I’m fine with my current charger otherwise for most purposes, I don’t need faster than 500mA charging. Some even slower charging would be nice for some of my smaller batteries.
Guess this is the honest, wise approach of someone living in abundance.

Expectations are bad. I would prefer to drop the project's pants (translation: lower its bar) in order to, in a reasonable and balanced way, fulfill its requirements and goals. I think its main goals can be met, without fear of unnecessary stuff being removed.
Along with other options and settings, the list of charging current presets must be editable.
In my opinion, the UC4 charger should meet its main, primordial power user goals. The rest is nonsense, or at least it is without raising the charger's budget.
But well, go ahead and good luck.

I finally caved and bought the SkyRC. I already have an Opus BT-C2400 for NiMH which has been great but I wanted to try something different, otherwise I would have simply gone with the Opus BT-C3100. I may pick up a Zanflare C4 to compliment the MC3000 as a quick, ‘drop a cell in and go’ charger since they can be had pretty cheap.

The only features that I care about myself are support for all sizes, and the ability to customize max charging voltage+storage mode.
All others can be tweaked.

Necessity. One charger does A and B, another does A and C, yet another does A and B, and D but only in slot 4. Etc.
That’s also why people don’t just have One Light.
