85 hours on high setting?
anyone familiar with this brand?
I’m not familiar with the brand but the 85 hours on high just means that the switch is set to high. The output will drop after a few hours and then it will run for the rest of the time at 10% or whatever.
It’s also not possible to know what “bright” or “high” is since no lumen output is given.
It appears to be using five 5mm LED’s.
It certainly doesn’t ring my bell. Maybe Robo has heard of this one.
But at a whopping 35 lumens most flashaholics would just ask....Why didn't you just buy the uf-h3 ?
Good question though ... Does the 5mm led have any real value apart from ..99 cent flashlights .?
Since China has abused it so badly by making terribly cheap products with it ..maybe it's a bit under-rated .
It's an old Silva headlamp, like 5 years old. Brunton used to be owned by Silva. One of my friends has a version of it with a Lux III inside. It's not a bad lamp, but it's pretty heavy. 4AA are pretty heavy. For $25 it's not bad if you don't mind the weight.
