Still available. We were given a head start a couple of days. I am sure they will be sold out when BG start promoting it for their Summer Prime Sale

Are all 60 accounted for already? If not, do you know how many slots remain?

Deal is ALIVE.

I attempted to order this item ten minutes after freeme made the post quoted above, but I don’t know if I was successful in completing my (pre?)order, because this is only the second time that I have attempted such an exciting method of ordering. At the time that I did this, ten minutes after the “Alive” post was made, I did not have the PM with the top secret code, but there was a not so top secret code posted in the first post of this thread. There was no place to apply that code on the Banggood preorder web page, and no place to enter my payment information on the BG web page, so I have no way of knowing if my preorder was successful or ended in failure. I went through a similar process a few weeks ago with ordering the EC03, fifteen minutes after the Group Buy went alive, and there was a place to enter the secret code and a place to enter my payment information and there was a point when I was notified that my order was completed successfully. Can someone PM me and granular detail explain to me the click by click instructions to pre order or order this item using either code?

Because I like big lights, my flashlightical views lean heavily toward both the extreme bright and the extreme heft.

I was unsuccessful in preordering this item, when I tried five hours ago, ten minutes after freeme posted "Deal is Alive". I did not have the top secret code at that time, and when I logged onto my BG account, there was no place for me to enter the public code that is posted on the first post of this thread, nor was there a place for me to enter my payment information. In my BG account, "Your order" tab does not show this item. Now, when I log into my BG account, the Preorder button is greyed out, so I am locked out of this deal.

So, this is one extra one for someone else.

What kind of 21700 battery it takes,so as to fit? Also, why they don’t sell all the batteries together with the light,so as to be possible to deliver batteries? You see, that it is not possible to deliver lithium batteries to some Countries.

21700 is used to power the fan.It should fit most OEM 21700.

It is cheaper and safer for air shipping. Getting your shipment detained by custom is no joke.

It’s just for the fan, so high capacity makes sense. Current capability is not a factor. Brand is not a big deal.

Freeme will have to answer the rest based on what physically fits.

Is it just me or do the pictures on BG make it look like the reflector is slightly orange-peel textured? I must not be seeing it correctly, for a light like this.

The reflection shows faint traces of the machining. It will not be mirror perfect when it’s this large.

7500 lumens rating is pushing it. Maybe it's a higher bin? In djozz's test, his limit was 20 amps, but I don't see the LED peaking much above 5500 lumens at the max.

Actually I found a gen 3 datasheet here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JB32vdU60H_S6cMCuwjubYWGjUKUr-wI/view, posted by Jared originally, here: http://budgetlightforum.com/comment/1619171#comment-1619171. djozz tested the SA bin and there's 5 higher bins on the sheet, in fact SA is the second lowest.

Yeah, Texas_Ace says the SBT-90.2 in the GT90 (uses similar FET driver and 8 × 18650 cells) maxes out at a bit over 5000 lumen. Lumintop also did an exaggerated lumen spec of 7000. I guess it’s just marketing.

Jason is probably right about the marketing spin.

I'd add a 10-15% for bump from our calibrated lumens to "manufacturer's" lumens. But still interesting a higher bin SBT90.2 should go from 5,000 to 7,074 based on scaling up the bin from SA to UB. SA to UB should increase lumens by 41.47%.

I can see getting this one day but I dont feel like beta testing it. I bought the MF04S for $140. I would probably pay $30 more for the MF05.

7500 lumens is exaggerated. So far, Hank sourced the highest bin of the SBT90.2 I’ve seen, which is still the 3rd lowest bin and doesn’t even make 5,000 lumens in a host without de-lidding. I don’t believe any bin above that is available on the market.

I think it would be a great host for white Flat or old style xp-g2 dedomed. You always can do a rebuild when you want to sell it. I hope I get a good reflektor without any issues.

Matt Smith measured 4970 lumens at 30s on the GT90 so a higher bin could probably do 5500 and more at turn on but yh the output is exaggerated.

I would be happy if it is able to achieve 6000lm.
