20700 battery in a 21700 flashlight

I have a whole bunch of high quality 20700’s.
It seems that there are only a few lights designed around the 20700.
Other than a bit of battery rattle is there any reason not to use 20700’s in a 21700 flashlight?
If this would be OK then which of the inexpensive lights would you recommend to run on a 20700?

They work perfectly. An 21700 light will work just as well with the 20700 cell. A couple of rubber bands will kill the rattle.

You can use 20700 cells in 21700 flashlights.

I don't have any recommendations for you, but you can use any 21700 flashlight you want.

Sofirn c8f good budget 21700 light. in case it wouldnt work on 20700 u havent spent much but it should.
