Wow this looks awesome! 18350 thrower! Optic looks similar to the Acebeam E10, which has an excellent nearly spill-less optic. What is more amazing is that Manker finally fixed their UI! My only complaint is I would prefer the usb-c port on the host and not the battery. Also, I wish Manker would release a similar light for 14500 batteries. With the recent release of the ultra high current and capacity Vapcell H10 and Shockli 1000mah recently released, there isn’t any good 14500 light that can make use of their high performance.

Woww. Im loving the new Manker designs. They redesigned alot of their line up this year to more streamline and EDC friendly: E02 II, E14 III and now new MC13.
Hopefully their UI got redesigned for less sucks too

Looks pretty cute. Interestingly it uses the same body tube as the E14 III.
Manker are really going for it, 2 lights in 1 day I like!
I suppose we will see these as Astrolux? they seem to copy each other/be the same.

I believe Manker and Astrolux had a dispute, and parted ways some years ago.
Be interesting to see how this light compares to the Acebeam E10 and the new Acebeam L17. All three use same emitter and TIR optic by the look of things.
Neat light. Glad they didn’t copy e10 with the 26350 size, too fat and stubby imo
Are these batteries even available somewhere? Shockli was supposed to have them at the end of June, but they are still gone. Vapcell has only low current cells available, or high current, low capacity cells.
great design and cool features.
> Which TV show did you watch last? <
How much of an increase in throw could one expect with the tir optic? Instead of a smooth reflector like in an archer m1 or c8+, with the same emitter.

I’m interested on how this ends up comparing to the Acebeam L17.
It’s one handsome light and very useful with the 18650 barrel
Output measured at 2s with Texas Ace Lumen Tube calibrated with Maukka lights. Light parameters measured with Sekonic C-800-U
I also have a MC13vn with W2.1 with boosted driver on order and will measure it once I receive it. The MC13 is actually a good bit larger than I thought as I was imagining something slightly bigger than a GT Mini. The optic appears identical to the one used in the Acebeam E10 and L17. Though for some reason the hotspot seems just a tiny bit smaller than in the E10 and hotspot is more uniform. Maybe its just the focus is a bit different between the two. The MC13 measures 630 lumens on turbo while E10 measures 562 lumens. I'm not sure how much of it is due to the MC13 using the CULNM1.tg vs E10 using CSLNM1.tg or whether it is just the driver pushing more output in the MC13. Build quality is very high on both the MC13 and E4 III.
With the E4III, the tint (positive DUV) is unfortunately too green for my taste, which is typical for all the LH351D 4000K 90CRI I've seen. I will see what I can do with some minus green filters and maybe swap in some UCL lens if I can find compatible diameter lens. Also I feel that with 18650, it should be able to output much higher but the potential is limited by high resistance due to springs barely pushing on the battery contacts. I guess it was designed to accommodate long cells with built-in USB-C charge.
The included Manker 18350 and 18650 cells measure 1,180mah and 3,063mah. The 1,180mah is higher than 7 out of 8 of the legendary Aspire 18350 and older batch of Vapcell 18350; both of which rewrapped the older, better batch of YDL cells. The YDL cells in the last two years went down hill a bit and measure under 1,100mah. Not sure if I won the cell lottery or if Manker got a really good or improved YDL cell. The 18650 is probably a Samsung 30Q.
I really like the new Manker UI!
After month and a half of waiting package has been delivered to my doors. Man, this baby is great, just what I was looking for. Pencil pointer with sublte spill. Some people say this flashlight is bad for EDC but for me is more than sufficient
I just read in some youtube comments that Manker plans on releasing an MC13 version with W2.2 (CUL.PM1.TG). I’m very curious to see what the performance will be like using the slightly larger LED.
Really like idea of this light. Are there any other lights similar that also use a throwy TIR optic?
My Lights (Updated: Feb 5, 2021)
Vinh sells the W2.1 CULPM1.tg version that he calls the MC13vn. I have it. Excellent beam.
Less throw, 2x more out put, larger hot spot, more usable spill, closer to a Neutral Tint and I run it with a FW3 Aduril driver…. running Simon’s CUL.PM1.TG emitters…

Thanks for your input.
Interesting that you mention half the throw. The Noctigon K1(650kcd W1 vs 600kcd W2) and KR1 show nearly the same throw for PM1 and NM1.
That’s just an assumption on my part, should of said… “less throw”…I don’t waist time measuring throw, my numbers are always less than what others measure.. I put a Boost HL in a BLF GT….

Perception matters too. The fact that you prefer the W2 is what matters in the end.
The throw looks comparable with my eyes though the W2.1 uses a resister mod to increase current. Vinh posted numbers.

160kcd vs 152kcd.
Looking forward to see if Manker releases this with W2 anytime soon.
I just received this light today. I love it! I’ll mainly use it with the 18650 battery with extension tube I think. It’s just a more comfortable size in the hand but I can see someone preferring the smaller size if it fits better in the pocket for them.
I also “retired” my modded Uniquefire where I replaced the reflector with a 40mm aspheric lens. It’s bigger and not as bright. This one just looks good as well. I took the clips off since I don’t need a clip for this.
It would be interesting to an Astrolux ft03 type/size light with this kind of TIR. I really like to have little spill in my throw lights.
There were no instructions but I like the interface. It seems to be click on, then click and hold to cycle throught low, medium, and high and click off with double click for turbo? Turbo is not that apparent so I’m not sure about turbo. Three quick clicks for strobe.
