What is the highest amp draw 5000 mAh cell?

I recently saw a couple advertisements for new power tool batteries, from DeWalt and Metabo, both advertising 5.0 amp hour cells. Two rows of five cells, making 18v at 10.0 amp hours. Not released yet, but expected later this year.

Typically power tools need the highest draw cells available, like Samsung 30T or 40T for 21700, or 25R for 18650. I’ve not yet heard of a Samsung 50T, and the 50E seems insufficient. Any ideas what cells these companies are using?

Not sure. My 24V Ridgid battery packs use 6 lmr 26700 cell that I have to rebuild soon. I bought the 20V XR DeWalt 1/4 impact and 1/2 impact along with there new drill. The 4AH batteries are very impressive. My old Craftsman used 18650 cells. I do believe DeWalt is using 10 of the 30T 21700 Samsung cells in there XR 20V battery packs. That’s why they are so expensive. They use 15 18650’s in there 60V Flex packs, not sure which cells though but they are blue in color.

Samsung 50G is the best 5000mah 21700 cell.

You mean 50E Samsung 50E capacity test - 5000mAh or not?

No. Here’s a test of the Vapcell G50 (Samsung 50G).
