Hi Lexel.

Sorry to hear you’ve been through that. Burn out and depression are serious conditions and it takes time to recover.
We have all enjoyed your inspired work and hope you’ll be back in shape.
Take care.

Quote:

“For those who have dwelt in depression’s dark wood, and known its inexplicable agony, their return from the abyss is not unlike the ascent of the poet, trudging upward and upward out of hell’s black depths and at last emerging into what he saw as “the shining world.” There, whoever has been restored to health has almost always been restored to the capacity for serenity and joy, and this may be indemnity enough for having endured the despair beyond despair.

E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle.
And so we came forth, and once again beheld the stars.”

Welcome back Lexel.
I’m very saddened to learn you’re having issues with depression. I know them too well, I’ve also seen a hospital from the inside…and that was not even a closed one. I recovered but it took years of therapy.
Not meds. Not doing pleasant things. Therapy. Analysing what didn’t work in the way I functioned and fixing that.

Wish you well…

I dunno, has anyone heard from Lexel? I PMed him and haven’t gotten a reply. Hope he isn’t having ongoing problems.

I also contacted Lexel a while ago checking if he was alright but didn’t have any notice meanwhile.
Hope he’s well, taking time to recover Thumbs Up
