A bit of warning. I visited Fenixlight.com (corporate chinese site) and my defender anti-virus immediately popped up. It’s an older malware exploit, but it’s there none the less.
I visited it. I have no anti-virus, no firewall, havent had either for 20 years. Computer could care less.
Thats why I run LINUX! Got soooooooooooooooo tired of the malware, worms, trojans, viruses, scripts, etc etc etc. NONE MATTER TO LINUX
Heres the thing though…… Just like how apple touted being free of malware etc etc that was entirely false due to the market share being dominated by windows machines at the time they made the claim they had only 2%~ market share, but as the market share increased so did the people writing code to infect those machines.
Even though Linux only has roughly a 1% market share in the home computer market there is and are malware etc etc that will infect a Linux system…. so just a heads up don’t feel immune to it.
