Do the brass and copper ones have some type of protective coating on them or will the finish dull after time?  I'm interested in both if they have coatings on them.

Lets hope so. The copper and brass light Ive owned in the past without a protective coating, oxidize quickly and look terrible.

I have a brass pen and it looks horrible right now!  Good news that these ones do have a clear coat.

Another idea – throw a 3535 MCPCB and centering ring in to boot so people can go XPL HI or SST20 if they like Big Smile

Has price been released? Where are people getting the “under $70” numbers?

I’m basing $70 off the “normal” price being two digits, so if I assume that’s 99.99, and most preorders are ~25-30% off. Just a guess, not a hard line in the sand.

I’m interested! 5000K if those are the only options, but I’d love 4000K.

SST40 and XHP50.2 3V don’t come in 4000K unfortunately – which is why I want a 3525 MCPCB Smile

Failed to spot one.

PS: I would find use for 4040 too. And maybe 3030…

3535 oops. But yes; MCPCB options are good. I got a 28mm 3535 Manker MCPCB some time ago, but centering the emitter in the reflector is impossible for me because I don’t have the original ring anymore; it broke when I was modifying my first FT03 and there’s no replacements available. If I had that I could at least look into making a collar for inside that but around a different emitter.

Do we know if there is a clear seal coating applied to these lights?
Since this is narsil instead of anduril, the premature step down from turbo is fixed?
