I’m excited to get my Wurkkos HD20 headlamp that was recently released. It’ll be my only light that has the USB powerbank feature so I can use it to charge my phone. I’m hoping Sofirn/Wurkkos updates their other lights to include this feature. It would be great if the IF25A (which also uses a 21700 battery) adds this. What’s the downside of adding this to a handheld? Does it drastically reduce the efficiency?
I know the Wuben E12R handheld that has the power bank feature, but it’s more expensive and had lots of other downsides (no moonlight, mediocre brightness and runtimes). I don’t know of any other lights in the $40 price range that has power bank function.
There was a forum post about which two lights you would bring with you when SHTF. I’m thinking the Wurkkos HD20 would be one of them, even if as a headlamp it’s too heavy to wear long term.
