11.11 Battery Charger suggestions

I’m looking for suggestions for a new charger. My current chargers are a LiitoKala Lii-500 and an ISDT-C4. Firmware updates fixed the C4 and it has 3A charging. 21700s don’t fit and it can only charge one 26650 at a time.

I would like to charge x700 cells and be able to charge two 26650s at 3A.

The updated Vapecell S4+ is on 11.11 sale for $36.56.

Any other suggestions?

The 11.11 price isn’t available yet.
There is a countdown timer on AliExpress.

I have the charger in my cart waiting.

Unless someone has a better suggestion.

Vapcell also have their S4+ on Alibaba. Check their Facebook page for promos?

This is the cheapest version:

There’s another with more or less similar value, but is still higher. I chose GBP and the UK plug, and this is the cheapest.

There is also a new Astrolux charger. but I didn’t search for much information on it!

Get whichever is cheaper and swap the cable with one for your country?

naw, the plug isnt the issue, its either the same, or its like less than a dollar difference.

I was checking this and the difference would not be a dollar (between adapter/no adapter):

oh ya, no adaptor is definitely cheaper, but i dont think thats a viable option for most people, the adaptor may not be proprietary, but its also not just a micro usb cable that people have extras lying around. at least i know i dont

Ah, ok. I was looking at a Baofeng handheld on Banggood yesterday and the US plug version was $38 more expensive. It may have cost more due to stock being in the US. AU plug was cheaper for Australia. Or just a pricing stuff up…

It may be worth asking Vapcell on AE or FB what price they can do.

I got the S4+ a few months ago. The power adapter makes a noise. I’d get an adapter from a local electronics store instead if I didn’t have the one that the S4+ came with. The noise isn’t too annoying.

Sorry! Once you start noticing the high pitched sound, it may be hard to ignore.

It’s still a good fast charger.

11.11 has mostly ended for some online stores… While looking around at some stores, I notice that Liitokala has a couple (possibly more, but I only noted these 2) of new models: Lii-600 and Lii-S8.

a) Lii-S8 is an 8-bay charger (+ 9v slot), up to 8× 1A or 4× 2A charging. It doesn’t mention ‘auto-polarity detection’ anymore though, which was a prominently-mentioned feature for the Lii-S1/S2/S4/S6 wherein batteries can be placed ‘upside-down’ and the charger will charge correctly.

I wonder how well the Lii-S8 will work (currently, my preferred 8-bay charger is the Miboxer C8)

b) Lii-600, this appears to be an update to the Lii-500 Engr and Lii-500S. Apparently this new Lii-600 has the features of the previous Lii-500/500S, and with some improvements: 4× 3A charging, more charging current (0.25/0.5/1A/1.5/2A/3A), and also restore the internal resistance display — hopefully they get the resistance reading more correctly this time (Lii-500 Engr’s mR resistance reading is inconsistent), the Lii-600 restored the lower charge current of 0.25A (which was missing in the Lii-500S which has a lowest charge current of 0.5A only). And the specs now mention discharge current of 0.75A (in all 4 slots?)

Oh, the Lii-600 looks very interesting! I skipped the Lii-500S since its termination voltage seemed consistently higher than ideal.
I’ll definitely be watching out for reviews of it, since it looks like a nice update over my Lii-500! And finally, the included power supply isn’t a wall wart…
