You could direct swap sst40’s for xhp50.2 3v easily. Getting the boards for it is something else. You’d almost have to reflow xhp50.2s on the mcpcb. That would be the easiest and quickest option, but it would be expensive…

Sofirn please make aslo 5000K SST40 version. I really like that 5000K in my SC31Pro. XHP50.2 is useless in my opinion for that flashlight body. Also will be more expensive with cold temperature. Also tripod thread as stephenk told will be great addition to future versions SP36. Also version without usb charging will be also great. Main problem now is when the air inside of the flashlight body go warm the USB rubber cover will popout from air pressure.
is the pro the throwiest of all sp36 variants?
The xpl2 version may throw farther.

Aliexpress shows a 5000K version now, but I don’t see it on the Sofirn site, so not sure if a typo or legit…
its legit, sofirn have confirmed the 5000k version was coming out soon
The SP36 is not really designed to mod since the driver is glued, so i doubt that.
However you can pop out the driver through the sideswitch hole.
Just waiting for an Amazon UK release now

No reason to get this on Ali Express when the Sofirn web site has it for the same price.
theres always coupons and stuff that makes AE cheaper.
Is there a physical lock out for this light. Maybe unscrew the head a little to avoid accidental activation.
