I’m Jon and I’ve been into flashlights my whole life. I started really investing time and money back in 2012 with my first purchase of a zebralight sc52. After that I got a zebralight h51 and was instantly hooked after I found out there were different colour tints or leds. Fast forward to now I’ve been doing a few video reviews of hiking and camping gear. Mainly edc pouches , ham radio stuff and mostly flashlights! I work for the ny state parks as a pra (trail steward) and part of my job requires that I find lost and injured hikers, sometimes at night. So to prepare and assist I must have a very efficient gear loadout and part of that is having flashlights and headlamps I can depend on. So, here I am. I’ve been lurking these forums for years and I forgot my original user name and password so I made this name instead. I’ve enjoyed many youtubers who are members of this forum and watching their videos so i finally decided to say hello. Thank you sir! I’ve had some great experiences so far with lights, zebralight being one of the best in terms of price and practicality for my AA format factor. Second closest would be the reylight Lan ti V3. I do have a bunch of olights and review thme lots but now im starting to get into the higher tier of lights. Been eyeing a over ready boss 35 light.
