Thanks for the review and all your valuable work.

You mention in the First line that this is a KeepPower cell? Must br a Typo.

Most cells seem to have over rated capacity. This being 2800mAh instead of claimed 3000mAh is a bit more over rated…maybe a VTC5D rewrap?

To admit is to acknowledge. To Accept is to take action.

It is and I have corrected it (At the current time I am doing a lot of Keeppower cells).

The typical cell rating requires a specific temperature for charge and discharge and charge may be with a lower termination current than I use and is usually also to a lower voltage than I do. All this together can explain some difference.

It may be a rewrap or a Chinese cell, some China factories are getting very good at making LiIon batteries.

It hasn’t discharged to 2.5V

The battery capacity is about 2950mah
This is not vtc5d

Can you tell us the battery inside? It seems to perform slightly better than the VTC6 at 15-20 amps but is just a little lower in capacity.

Custom battery, we should be the only one with this battery at present Smile

This would be great for high power soda can lights.

This is a discharge rate enhanced Samsung 30Q; the shape of the discharge curves match, its top too. Versus a 30Q its internal resistance is lower, while its capacity is a little bit lower. This allows the cell to meet a 20A continuous discharge rating without exceeding 80°C (at 25°C ambient).
