Sofirn SF47T Video Review

Here’s my video review with comparison beamshots against the Sofirn C8G, Astrolux FT03, and Convoy L21A (Osram kw culpm1). I reckon it’s one of their best for build quality

Tint was a cooler white than the Convoy, it must be a different bin. It was cooler on all levels, so it’s not a case of poor heat transfer or too much current.

Thank you for the review. I tried one and I did judge it harshly, because I was directly comparing it to Acebeam L19 and Convoy M21C.

I agree with you that build quality of SF47T is very good. It does have a real tactical UI that allows quick access to needed modes without all the fluff. It’s simple UI and is quickly accessible.

Initially I was interested in SF47T because of two 21700 cell configuration and buck driver, but during direct comparison of output it came last to L19 and M21C.

SF47T dropped from turbo first, then it was L19 and followed by M21C which held best output out of the three.

At distances over 100 meters SF47T output fell severely short in comparison to other two lights, and it was a disappointment.

Cold tint and low output made SF47T irrelevant to me. At the same time M21C UI is for civilian use only, while L19 is well over twice the price of SF47T.

From what I’ve seen L21A has higher output then M21C but it’s size/weight places it into a different category.

If SF47T had the same output and tint as M21C, it would have been a winner for hight build quality and run time two 21700 cells provide.

Sadly low output negates its usefulness.
