I received my white K2 today but I think it is defective unit after a little use. I didn’t read manual in first use and just trying some button combos of the key. Ramping was worked well and when I turn on for first time the light. I didin’t know what combo I am activated but now my light have very slow ramping. It is like a very slow step mode without ramping. For now to adjust the brightness is very difficult. I tried to factory reset but the result is the same. Do you think is the my unit is defective?
PS
Today I tried to full discharge the battery and seem that works. The ramping is reset back to normal. After that I tried to do some random clicks and that broke the ramping again. I discharged again and that reset ramp. So there is some firmware bug related to some sort of clicks. So if you have similar problem try to full discharge light.

I wondered if others were encountering this bug. It seems to go away by itself but it does not build confidence in the quality of the product. The UI seems like a modified form of Anduril to me. If so I wish they had used the unmodified version.

Also there is bug with RGB lights and battery check mode when is present ramping issue. Time between blinks are very long almost minute. Also to reproduce that problem again it is very easy if you make some random clicks. I think to escalate BG for refund or partial refund. I also waitng to receive second K2 in red. I hope there to not have same issue like in white version which i received first.

So…. This today This happened, I pull my keys out of my pocket and notice that i only had half a flashlight.
the rest was still at the bothem of my pocket. i only remember dropping my keys once, when i just got the light.
The plastic seems to be way to hard to survive as an edc, i think i wil go back to the Nitecore tiki

Yesterday I received my second K2 in red body. I am disappointed from it. The UV and blue leds are very dimming to be useful because there is paint over them in the body plastic. I dont know is that pattern is the same for all K2 units or they differ. Also seems they used different firmware version. So far there is no present ramping bug. Also I think ramping speed on my red K2 is a little faster compared to white version. Also on my new red K2 version lowest level of SST20 led is significantly brighter compared to white version which is more like usefull moon mode.

Was reaching for my keys inside my jacket earlier today and noticed something loose….

Wow it actually broke inside my jacket for some reason.. and no i didnt drop my keys or anything…. blah… what a joke it cant even withstand being in your jacket and it breaks ? i got another one so aint gonna bother send broken claim to banggood not even worth the trouble really dissapointed even for the price it just broke like that and i didnt do anything really… Facepalm

so if u want use this on your keychain inside your jacket or pants be careful even there it isnt safe…. gues my spare copy will not really be used much.

Reading some of the feedback once everybody received these lights makes me think I should stick with RovyVon Aurora….or XTAR T1. I’ve always wanted something in this form, but this Astrolux K2 doesn’t look like it went so well.

One clear one was on my GF’s keychain on a table which fell to the floor and also shattered. I didn’t take a picture just threw it away.

That sucks! Too bad the alternative is double the money. I guess you get what you pay for. Thanks for sharing. This really has steered me away from the K2.

Took me quite a while but I finally ordered three pieces, 2 transparent green GITD 4000K K2s and another in 6500K. Pity, they don’t come with a key ring.
Thanks freeme!
