6 Best Keychain Flashlight Comparison

Hey Everyone! I wanted to share a comparison video I made a few weeks ago of a handful of the most popular keychain flashlights so you can get a better idea of which one might be best for you.

The lights I compared are the Nitecore Tini2 and TIPSE, the Rovyvon A5X, the Fenix E03R, the Olight i12R EOS, and the Cyansky M2.

Not a fan of video reviews so I admit I skipped most of it, I saw max lumen, did you cover minimum lumen output?

I appreciate the beamshot comparison image though. Thanks

I didn’t include the minimum lumen output but I included the max runtime on their lowest output setting. That’s a good tip though, I’ll include that in future comparison videos.

Glad you enjoyed the beamshot comparisons. I’m planning to improve those in coming videos as well.

I’m not a fan of videos either. Especially on youtube since every time I pause it covers half of the picture with ads for other videos which I have to close every time.
Anyway, thanks for the comparison.

I am surprised that you don’t see a hotspot of TINI2, I can clearly see one on my light.

Oh, BTW, I don’t agree that the newer Rovyvons are an upgrade over the previous ones, let alone a major one.
They offer more output and runtime but IMHO the size increase more than makes up for the difference.

I also spotted a mistake: You say that Olight has 150 lumens but the vid shows 500.

ADDED:
BTW, are those the 6 best?
I don’t agree with that either. There are many better ones than the Olight or Fenix f.e.

FWIW, regarding Youtube videos for learning… If I actually want to learn something from there I will use youtube-dl. Then, I can use it locally and pause FF, RW, as needed.

I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to say I find your videos to be very helpful and nicely done. Particularly the keychain light comparisons.

Thanks for the review. I possibly could have missed it, but I don’t think I did.

You forgot to mention a major part in my decision making for any flashlight. I’m assuming they are ALL propriety batteries?

If that’s the case that’s a no-go for me.

I actually just ordered a Lumintop Frog and extension so I can put my 10440 battery in there. These tiny lights with only one option for battery size, which in this case is the 10180 are not practical for me. Their capacity is only between 80 and 100 milliamp hours. The frog has one but I prefer the extension it’s still under 2.75 in long. And only weighs 25 G with the battery.

Just realized that this thread is a few years old! In addition he hasn’t been online in almost 4 months!
