Interesting. I received a similar pen light about 15 years ago that used an incandescent bulb. Oddly enough this style of pen light seems to be uncommon - most of the pen lights I see have the light pointing away from the tip so they are not useful for writing in the dark. I’m not sure how to purchase once it’s released but for a little less than $6 I’d buy a few.
