Looking for "easy to find" flashlights

I’m brand new to the world of flashlights and have received my first “torch” — a SofirnSC31Pro.

To be honest, I’m loving it. On the same order I received a few of the C01 and a C01s I believe it was and they both have milled out ovals in the base. Not knowing what they were for, I of course Googled it up and found they are made for tritium vials.

Having been aircrew for Uncle Sam for many years, I knew tritium and also knew the expense of it coming from Swiss sources. A little more interned sleuthing led me to see they can be had for peanuts from the right Chinese source (though without ever ordering direct from China, of course, hesitation and apprehension was perfectly understandable and necessary in order to not get scammed).

So, with these facts in mind, I would like some options for lights that accept tritium and the makers have the vials available at fair prices and are willing to install (preferably) prior to shipping.

Other lights that would be on my radar would be those, just like the Sofirn, which have a built in illumination.

I really, REALLY, like the very low glowing led on the switch of the Sofirn which allows me to quickly pick it up in a darkened room and use it for the intended purpose.

I see now why they could be a bit addicting and I suppose my quest begins here also.

Thanks in advance for any recommendation you folks could make for me.

One of these maybe?

Lumintop Gift G1

The D4V2 has extra colored LEDs in the head that can stay on for years at a time. Mine is configured to show battery status by color and can be locked out so you don’t accidentally click it on/off in a pocket. The D4V2 is something of a flashlight nerd’s hotrod though and takes some “programming” to get it how you want.

Many flashlights have a “moonlight” or “firefly” mode that can run for weeks, months, or more on an 18650. ZebraLight comes to mind, the SC64c LE seems popular around here. But this mode could be accidentally clicked off in your pocket.

There are also several others that have lights in the switches like yours.

Some people also add glow tape or rubber bands to any flashlight but obviously those need to charge in daylight.

Wow! Those Lumintop Gift G1’s remind me of “toys” if you know what I’m saying :smiling_imp: . None the less, I see the link is to Flashaholic’s review, and I just adore what he does in those videos. I’ll definitely check them out this evening. Thanks so much for the recommendation, maybe they will turn out to be something that I should get instead of what I would think they should be used for.

yes, Mac…and here’s the scene:
