Driver build for Luminus SBT 90

Hey!

I want to build a strong moving head beam i will use a Luminus SBT 90, now i want to find the right driver. The drivers that i can find on the web are like 8A max, i think there is more to get out of this led. Since im not stuck with the need of using batteries. I will get the power from the mainnet. Are there people that created this before? I have some knowledge about electronics/soldering but not enough that i know exactly what i need right now.

Thanks in advance!

You dont need any driver

I need to power it up?

If wired you need power supply with constant 3.3V- 3.6V

You have any suggestions for good heatsinks? Big aluminium one with fan will do?

yes, like from old CPU

Amazing thank you!

DIWdiver’s 25A linear (DC) driver might be an option for you.

I don’t know much about what makes flashlights tick internally, but this made a lot of sense. Drivers regulate the current. If current is already steady, it doesn’t need a driver to regulate it.

I seriously know nothing but want learn how to mod and repair my lights. Hearing this made me feel a bit more open to trying. So it’s literally a battery, a driver to regulate the power, and an led. Seems straight forward enough.

Does DIWdiver’s still make drivers ?
