here is a series of hand photos by twistedraven.. I find them informing
.

and here is my World Famous Chicken Ala CRI:
.

the only difference is an xp-g2 shining on the top chicken, and Nichia 219b 4000K on the bottom…

there is an amazing lack of Red information coming from the xp-g2

Since it seems the LH351D emitter in my Skilhunt isn’t the best high-CRI emitter, I’ve ordered a Skilhunt E2A with an SST-20 high-CRI emitter to do some comparison.

Your going to be comparing the first one at 5000k to the second one at 4000k. You’re almost guaranteed to like the 4000k hi cri. You won’t ever want to get anything above 4000K again.

I used to think I wouldn’t go back to cool white after experiencing 4000K emitters. Then I experienced the 95+ CRI 5600K Yuji in the Sofirn C01. It was a mind blowing experience seeing a cool white emitter not making things look “undead” like the typical cool white LED. Problem is not too many flashlight companies use good 95+ CRI LEDs in cooler color temperatures.

Looks like you like your chicken lightly seasoned? Smile I usually just load mine up on spices at maybe 7 to 8 different types! I once in a while enjoy lightly seasoned chicken but usually, it’s caked top, bottom, and sides with spices. Crazy

I think High CRI beat the crap out of him, burnt his house down, and killed his dog.  :))

(That's a reference to the J0hn Wick series.)

The high CRI threads are now about as toxic as the COVID-19 thread was.

Regardless of how this thread eventually ends, there was a lot of good info here!

Ideally we want LEDs to replicate how the sun illuminates objects. With LEDs, we have lots more options than the 2700K, 100 CRI, 0 DUV incandescent bulbs of the past (hopefully I got that right). And with LEDs, there is a tradeoff between lumens, CCT, tint, and CRI.

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.

You are ridiculous. It’s obvious you’re just posting this crap for the reactions. What do you have to gain by doing this?

Yeah, as of today I performed subtraction of a negative in his case, resulting in net gain.
