Imgur images not displayed in some browsers?

There are reports on BLF that Imgur images are not displayed in some web browsers.

On my Windows 10 computer, they do display in Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, Internet Explorer, and Viasat Browser.

Those are the only web browsers that I have installed, so it's not a problem for me.

There is a pretty large image in my signature that is hosted on Imgur, so if you can see that, then it's not a problem for your browser.

Please post in this thread if you cannot see that image, and also which web browser you are using.

Thanks!

RC,
I’ve always been able to see your signature image on whatever I’m using.
If I copy the link location and paste it in a text editor, the URL ends in JPG.

The ones Terry is trying to link to the URL does not end in JPG, but some sort of mediafire download repair URL.

http://www.mediafire.com/download_repair.php?flag=
3&dkey=o888k0d8bl1&qkey=w0y8ugbh4c023fo&ip=104.183.156.32&ref=2

I broke the link in half so it could be displayed and you can see all of it.
Not sure what’s going on.
All the Best,
Jeff

It might be server setting dependant. I can see it in brave and chrome at home, but nothing on any browser at work.

@jeff51:

Yeah, I'm not sure what’s going on with Terry's images either.

I've never used MediaFire, but if they provide what is commonly called a "direct link" that has an extension like jpg, that is the one you want to use.

My last employer also banned a lot of sites, among them most if not all image hoster.

Smile, you cannot kill them all.
