I do long distance touring. Bicycle manufactures fail to understand I don’t want a light that blinds on comming traffic for 2 hours but a light that runs all night. Eventually I realized I need 2 lights one that lasts a long time and one that focuses farther down the road that I can turn on on high speed downhills. That’s when I discovered gun lights also called varmit lights. Careful here some varmit lights have a colored filter and others have a colored LED. The advantage is they have a remote switch so you can hang onto the handlebars. I chose the JobSmart TAC-360. It says it has 360 lumens however it starts off brighter gets dimmer and then dies after 5 hours. Perfect for what I want. The light has double o rings and unscrews in 2 places along the battery compartment so you can push through a stuck battery. It also comes with 2 switches a button on the end and a remote. It has a standard 18650 battery and a charger. I plan on replacing the charger with one that at has a usb connector. You can find beam shots on youtube.
