Manker E14 III issue

.

Someone help this man.
Have you reached out to Manker yet?

CRC,

Really sorry you feel you are being blacklisted.

Would rather think that other members have not experienced the same problem and that is why lack of reply/help.

Have the same light and it works just dandy however have not tried to change factory programming.
Would start by trying a different length/style/brand battery.
Have a few other flashlights that only play nice with certain batteries, it sucks but that’s the way it is sometimes.

The battery that comes with it does not do the capacity that they quote but it is acceptable for the format.
Flashlight will not lock out with the copper head, nature of the beast.

Thanks and hope you find some answers.
Keith

Ain’t got’ny Mankers, just trying to help.

Whenever a light goes mental, it’s almost always something with the driver. Loosen, reseat, snug-up the driver via the retaining ring. Often they get loose, develop intermittent contact which can and usually does make the driver go mental.

Reflector? Might be shorting out something on the LED board.

I had a TK05 go mental, and a retaining ring just loosened when unscrewing the battery tube. Finding it was the hard part (wasn’t expecting it), but fixing it was a breeze.

So nobody dogpile me with “The Manker doesn’t have X/Y/Z…” because I ain’t got any to compare with, but they’re starting points.

The copper head not wanting to lockout in my experience is normal.
Regarding the weird mode group you seem to be in would say is not normal, however some of the flashlights that use two circuits inside one tube seem to be finicky. Sometimes the pressure exerted on the switch by the battery length can affect it’s operation.
See threads on problems with Lumintop FW3A for examples.

Really clean those contact surfaces also.

What happens when using the 18650 battery tube?

I am sorry I skimmed read it. Have you tried any fb groups?

Flashlight Fanatics and Jackson Lee flashlights are a great resource to me and have helped me out many times

Do you have FB you can contact him directly on messenger. Sorry again for your troubles, if anything this can serve as a warning for anyone considering this brand
