Magnetic recharging docks - Olight and Skilhunt

I have a Skilhunt H03 RC with charger, but I don’t have an Olight version of the magnetic charging adapter. They look like they could be of compatible design. Has anyone here actually tried this out? Meaning, dock a Skilhunt light to an Olight adapter or vice versa?

I just tried it with the M200 and the S1R II (and the respective charhing cables), and:

- apparently the M200 seems to charge with the Olight cable, as the charger light goes from green to red. I didn’t measure the V or A while charhing but if you want I can check it :+1: Still, the contact seems flimsy.

  • the S1R II cannot be charged because the base of the M200 is smaller in diameter and does not make contact with the “ring” of the Olight (- pole, I guess).

Let me know if I can help more in this case

Thanks for the info. Now I am going to try charging my M150 with one of my Olight cables.

Just finished trying it myself and (as previously said) it is very difficult to maintain a constant connection between the M150 and any of the Olight charging cables or docks that I have. Just in case it was the location of the charge port on the M150, also tried an H04 and same issue. Seems that the center pin on the Olight chargers sticks out a little bit more than than the Skilhunt port can mate with and provide a solid connection. If you hold the lights firmly against the cable, it appears to work. However, you either have to hold it throughout or fiddle around and find just the right angle and then not touch them. Open to suggestions if there’s a better way than what I tried.

Very cool, Mascaratum! Thanks for checking. :+1:  Good to know that an Olight charging dock will work in a pinch for a Skilhunt flashlight. OLIGHT is selling an A/C magnetic charging adapter with USB pass-through and perhaps it may work with a Skilhunt flashlight.

Maybe a thick rubber band might do the trick of keeping your M150 attached and charging.

Good idea. Since I have both cables, not a priority for me. That said, will try it this evening as you never know when it might be useful.
