Where can i buy 8*7135 "Driver", no mcu AKA slave board

I am often use a 8*7135 slave board for my builds.
Usually I am using 105c driver and taking the mcu off or an 4*7135 driver and solder 4 more 7135s on top of the existing 4.
Both options are not optimal: the 105c is relatively expensive and soldering 7135 on top of other is not a lot of fun.
Do you know where can I buy 8*7135 board?

Don’t think they make them beyond 4 (ie, 1-sided), at least I never saw any, but these

seem cheap enough at <2bux a pop.

‘Cause he’d have to unsolder the µC, which is tedious, and why buy something you’re going to do without?

That is exactly what I am using but soldering more 7135 is tedious. I wish they made it 2 sided.

Sorry for my bad English, I am looking for a board with only 8*7135 chips, no MCU, no Diode, no capacitor, no resistors....

If you’re okay with the extra expense, I think those 8-fers have pads set up where you can short the enable line to the + voltage (solder-bridge) to keep it forced on. The µC and all other crap are still there, doing what they’re supposed to, but the 7135s are Just On.

You can connect the third leg of any of the 7135s to the positive led pad. No need to unsolder anything.

I am using it as a slave board, not as a constant current driver so it need to be controlled by the master driver.
Anyway, I know how to use it as is, but I prefer buying a board with only the components I am using

Why dont you just design your own PCB?

Since it is a lot more trouble and more expensive than the other options I mention above Smile

For 2$ I get a board with half the chips already soldered on it Smile

Lookit https://flashlightwiki.com/images/a/a3/Nanjg_105C._600.jpg and zoom in.

(So much for linking the pic…)

I forgot which pin is which, but to bypass the enables, just crowbar them to positive, and there’s no need to unsolder anything. Just a solder bridge should do it.

But why pay 0.5-1$ more fore each light when I don't need the MCU?

Where are you from?

I am on the oposite side, I need old good Convoy V2 driver all together with attiny A13 mcu and 8×7135 chips but it is discontinued Angry and I cant buy it anymore.
New wersion is using some weard chinese mcu that I cant program like I did with A13 based drivers

So I will probably have to find pcb on OSHpark or similar PCB service and get all components to build drivers from 0 Tired

Why not using nanjg 105C?

Nanjg 105C can do the job but Convoy V2 was just that better to be my favorite driver.

Nanjg has 7135 chips on the spring side soldered a bit wider so when you screw on the retaining ring it hits the center,
wide contact on 7135 chips and start spinning entire driver as you screw in mentioned ring.
On Convoy V2 this was not an issue.
Also price is not that affordable when you want to buy 50 drivers. Maybe OSH park solution could be cheaper?

‘Cause for now it seems the exact critter doesn’t exist commercially.

Either get the 4-fer and piggyback some 7135s to make an 8-fer, or get the brainy 8-fer but just don’t use the brains.

I used the 4-fers in a few lights (usually XP-E2s, and/or high-rel lights whose pills I’d pot), and wanted something with a bit more oomf, but nope, couldn’t find any.

Anything on the flip-side, though, and it’s no more flat contact, but a spring would now be a must, so that’s another consideration.
