Hi everyone my name is Jackson Lee many of you guys know of me from my ebay store and now new store opened early 2021 www.jlhawaii808.com. I have some new products i wanted to share and dont want to break any rules been having issues with some group pages and r/flashlights which one gotten banned the other wont allow me to share pictures all my intensions is to share picture of the latest flashlights i get to you enthusiasts out there
I’ve bought 15 or more lights from Jackson. He has great service typically shipping same day. He’s in Hawaii and I get my Hank lights and Fireflies fast.
It wouldn’t have happened if they had a brand name like any other brands.
They only have product line names : Emisar and Noctigon, and their weird ass website name : intl-outdoor, or is that supposed to be the brand ?
I’m inclined to agree with thefreeman on this one, Hank Wang sells nearly identical quad emitter lights, where the one with a side switch is in a product line called Emisar (the D4V2) and the one with a tail switch is in a product line called Noctigon (the KR4).
I think users don’t want to juggle those names, so they’re looking for an overall company name to use, e.g. something like “Convoy” and all they can come up with is intl-outdoor.com which is super confusing to new forum members.
So calling them Hanklights is akin to calling Grogu “Baby Yoda.” Sorry guys, you didn’t tell us a character name for too long, and no one was using “the child”—it was too non-descript, so Baby Yoda it is.
Hey Jackson, if you want to do advertising here as well there’s a commercial seller’s spot
Your store has good reviews whenever I’ve heard it mentioned. Can’t say that for everyone Neal
Exactly, there is no overall brand to refer to, so “Hank Light” became the placeholder. Parametrek has to refer to them “INTL Outdoor” because of this, even though it’s obviously not meant to be an actual brand.
I guess we should ask Hank for clarification and his preferences about all this. Both sites are somewhat sloppy in terms of the usual business information…often you can deduce something by reading stated Terms and/or Privacy Policies, and in his it is stated “Int’l Outdoor” stuff, but that may not mean anything here. Doesn’t seem so hard to just state Noctigon or Emisar based on which light someone is talking about…not sure why there is confusion or the need to say “Hank lights”…but everyone knows what’s being conveyed anyway.
Prices on cells and accessories and many lights seem awfully high compared to CONUS sources. Is there a benefit for stateside customers to order from Hawaii as opposed to someone else other than faster shipping times vs. direct from China? Or are you aiming at serving other countries/markets?
